Oct 24th I had the honor of photographing a baby shower for my girlfriend's older sister, Jolene. The father runs a successful wholesale greenhouse. One of the orchids from the greenhouse is in this set.

I haven't posted here in some time. I usually post to my facebook since there's a plugin for that in LR.

Anyway, last Sunday was a festival called the Burgoo Festival in Utica, IL, and since I had a few connections I was able to sit outside a business without paying a fee like some other vendors did. I had sample 8x10's of my best work, nature and macro shots, along with shots of some people. I printed up 245 4x6's to sell. I was told that people want to buy things when they come to this fesvital. But alas, I sold nothing. A photographer next to me who had some nice eage shots and pamphlets and other things didn't sell anything either. So, now I have a whole box of 4x6's that I'd like to sell.

Which is where you come in: I have uloaded these to a proofing site where they can be viewed and purchased. Half of what I bring in will go to support a mission trip to Mexico that I may go on. The website is:

The way this site works is that you would make your payment to them, and they would notify me of the order. I send the order out and ship it to you, and notify them that the order has been filled. When the balance reaches a certain amount, they will pay me and take their cut.

This morning I discovered that the contact solution that my contacts were in had 3% hydrogen peroxide mixed in after I managed to pry my eye apart. I took this photo a half hour later.



My eye is still bloodshot as I type this.

I have a few photos that I need to get 8x10 prints of off of MPIX. The problem is, I shot them in wide ratio because on camera and on screen it looks better, since they are photos of groups of people. Does anyone know how I can force mpix to include the whole picture, even if it has white space around the borders?
